Logan Stewart, a local Cape Breton author, wasn't looking for love when he met Manhattan editor, Rachel Abrams. Their love blossomed into a story-book ending, and would've been perfect if her old flame, Nicholas Hoffman, wasn't trying to sabotage her new relationship.

Nick, the millionaire owners' son at Big Apple Books, attempted to rekindle his romance with Rachel but was too late. He even flew to Cape Breton to propose, but was rebuffed. He quickly moved on and married Melanie, Rachel's stunning assistant.
